Sewer Problems

Remember the Colonoscopy my house went through last week? Well, today was surgery day. There were some complications, as expected, but in the end (hahaha! get it? colonoscopy? “in the end”?
) everything turned out OK.
Here are some photos, from the gallery:
Still have to fill the holes, but the sewer lines are functional, yet again.

Home Colonoscopy
August 3, 2007 // Comments are Closed
My house had a colonoscopy today… well, not really, but it kinda did. The third plumbing service this week was here today, and they brought a camera. So down the sewer we went, and found the problem.
Now one particular plumber wanted to charge me $5,000 to dig up the driveway, where the problem “may” be located. I don’t have $5,000 to drop on “maybe”s, so I called another, who did some work, then recommended a third.
It turns out, the problem isn’t in the middle of the driveway, but rather in the basement! The job is much cheaper than $5,000, too (it’s actually something I can afford!).
If all goes well, the bum of the house gets some surgery next week.
