3-2/3 of 4 on Geocaching Trip
Monday May 19, 2008 // Share on Facebook

Ray, Steve and I took some time Friday & did a bit of geocaching along 2 Mile Creek. The weather was nice, despite the call for rain. Our first attempt was a multi-cache. Steve found legs 1 & 2, but nobody could find the final part. We then moved on and I found the next 2 caches. We were then about 1-1/4 miles away from the car, so we started to head back. Steve took off, but Ray and I stuck around & found the last cache of the day (Ray found this one).
That makes us 3 and 2/3 out of 4 for the day - not too bad! Oh, I picked up a geocoin from one of the caches, so I have to get out & move it pretty soon. I also ordered 2 geocoins from eBay and will be placing them soon, too.
Afterwards, Laura and I took the kids up to Niagara Falls for a nice tour of Goat Island and 3 Sisters Island. I’d like to get up there & do some geocaching, too - bring the bikes, though, so we’re not stuck too far away from the cars.
