Vaseline is set to be the official petroleum jelly of the Buffalo Sabres. This announcement comes after a goal with 17 seconds left in game 4 of the Rangers series was turned down, giving the Rangers a 2-1 victory.
Fans heading to Friday night’s game 5 at HSBC Arena will be greeted by that evening’s referees, who will be handing out jars of Vaseline and apologies (for both the bad call from game 4, and all future bad calls) to the first 15,000 fans.
PS – this is a joke. Don’t expect free Vaseline if you’re going to the game on Friday.
