Financial Advisor
Anyone out there work with a financial advisor? I’m just starting with one now… it’s a little scary handing over all this information, but on the other hand, there’s a lot I need to plan for in the future (college, retirement, having fun). Luckily, I have all my finances in line, so today’s meeting was a quick one. They ask some tough questions, though… really make you think.
Hey Eric, I’m actually just looking into this myself in Massachusetts. I’ve got all kinds of situations and problems i need to straighten out. Not to mention securing a future for my wife and child and any children to come.
Intimidating isn’t it?
I worked with AXA Advisors and should’ve realized there was a problem when I knew more than they did. I didn’t think I knew that much about personal finance, but if I know more than these “professionals” I guess I do. However, I’m still keeping an accountant on hand to minimize taxes.
