My September 22 LOST Theory

The newspaper shown in the video of Juliet’s sister was September 22, 2004, which is the last day of the Eleusinian Mysteries. There have been some other references to them before.
There are plenty of similarities / theories that can be seen from this:
“The Mysteries were based on a legend concerning Demeter, the goddess of life, agriculture and fertility” - the whole fertility thing
“Hades fell in love with Persephone and kidnapped her, taking her to his underworld kingdom. Distraught, Demeter searched high and low for her daughter;”… “Finally, by consulting Zeus, Demeter reunites with her daughter and the earth returns to its former verdance and prosperity” - does this mean Rousseau and Alex will be reunited at the end? I forgot what happened to them last…
