No Surprise Earnings
Don’t you just hate it when you have no idea when the stocks you own are going to release earnings news? I do.
That’s why I made the earnings tool under my stock picks. By default, my portfolio is in there (one of the benefits of owning the tool, I guess) but you can put your own symbols in there. Then, the script scrapes Yahoo’s earnings calendars and finds matches.
Go ahead & load the thing up – 1 symbol or 100, it takes the same amount of time (which is a long time!). Maybe in the next version I’ll build in caching, so it can return results a lot quicker.
