I'm glad to hear that crappy English teachers were the norm in New York high schools!

The funny thing is, I was happy to get the Edge 7...of course I was in sales so mine came with the off chance of commission...whenever Sean's wife wanted to calculate them and cut us checks. Not that I exactly set the world on fire, though I did do alright with those guys from Schoolbytes and the Pimp contest.

OK... just for Brian, new numbers 1, 3, 5:

1) I wanted to live on a farm, have a dog named Opus and a duck named Wilson. I now live in Suburbia, have a dog named Scout and no duck. Oh well, not everything works out in life.

3) I was a top Euchre player in my Middle School league. My partner and I were asked to leave the association so other teams had a chance of winning.

5) I made it though 10th grade English without reading a single book. This actually started in 9th grade, when I copied the timeline from a book and handed it in as my project (mind you, my version was nearly 30 feet long, but still, all I did was copy the timeline from the book). In 10th grade I didn't open a single book, but as long as I mentioned "Christ imagery" I did fine in my reports.

[...] Okay, so Nagel tagged me, which apparently means I’m supposed to list five things you don’t know about me. Contrary to the point of the site I’ve tried to avoid actually divulging anything meaningful about myself for the most part. If I’m successful I can carry on that trend with this post. Its actually going to be a challenge to list things that aren’t readily apparent, don’t implicate me in illegal activities, or would make any member (including “Boom Boom” blush), but I’ll give it a go.
I think you should be the one to tag your wife because it would really sound bad if I or someone else tagged your wife.

1. My first job was a news carrier for the buffalo news.

2. I played back row brass in school. Trumpet, baritone, and tuba, all for a few years each.

3. I play mostly sports games on gamecube, and enjoy the over 16000 arcade games on WNYPoker.com (cheap plug) . The game I played the most was Action Quake, a quake II mod, from like 1998 to 2002.

4. Hrm, guess I have to get creative with #4. I guess it worked out OK for Eric, I still don't think Laura likes me. Ha. But really, ummmm... thereare a couple I can think of but don't want them on a web page. You'll just have to ask me in person, but I probably still won't tell you! :)

5. Same decision as Eric, but my alternate offer was $10.50/hr at the other job that would have started me on a mostly networking track instead of a sys-admin job. I may have chosen differently if it was for $17/hr. But I took the "Edge 7" and have no complaints.
