Thanksgiving’s Coming
We went to Aunt Carol’s on Saturday for Thanksgiving dinner… it makes things so much easier when families spread out holidays like this. The drive went quickly, about an hour there and an hour to get home again. And, of course, the Garmin StreetPilot made it easy to get there and back.
I spent Saturday morning putting up this year’s Christmas lights – about 2,300 in all this year. Sunday, however, was such a waste of a day… I slept in (which I never do), then we went to Sears for the kids Christmas photos (went well, for a change!) then I slept from about 1 to 5, then laid on the couch until bedtime. I don’t know what hit me, but I guess I needed the rest.
Thanksgiving is in a few days now… in the AM I have the Turkey Trot (which I’m not feeling ready for, since I’m working a lot this week), dinner at our house at 3:00, and then dessert later in the evening. I’m looking forward to this years Thanksgiving… and the special surprise we have in store for everyone!
Hint #1 – Laura’s not pregnant again.
