If a=b, and b=c, does a=c?
Let’s see if the intelligent readers of this site can figure this out:
- On May 1, 2003 Bush declared “Mission Accomplished” (a)
- “accomplished” means “successfully completed or brought to an end” (b)
- Troops will pullout of Iraq when the “mission (is) complete” (c)
So if a=b, and b=c, why doesn’t a=c? Bush said the mission is accomplished, so doesn’t that mean troop pullout can start now?
