Dual Monitors

28th Oct 2006Technology

I finally made the leap & added a second screen to my home-office.

I bought a USB adapter to add on the second screen, and a cheap LCD from Tiger Direct. Then I bought this really useful software called Ultramon, which I can’t imagine having a second screen without using this software.

So now I keep my chat windows, stock screens, iTunes, etc. on the second screen, and I work on the first. Once I moved the refresh rate from 60 to 75 Hertz, things are much better.

While I was behind my computer, I hooked up some powered speakers, so now I can really crank my iTunes, or actually hear what the guys on Jericho are saying as I catch up with that show.
