Crohn’s & Colitis walk is coming soon!

The Guts & Glory Walk for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America is coming up, and we need your help!

Crohn’s disease is a rare disease, affecting fewer than one person in 10,000 in Europe and North America. Although the cause of Crohn’s disease is not known, it is widely believed to be an autoimmune disease (failure of an organism to recognize its own constituent parts, resulting in an immune response against its own cells and tissues). …there is no known medical or surgical cure for Crohn’s disease. Many medical treatments are however available for Crohn’s disease with a goal of keeping the disease in remission.

On Sept. 16th at 10am we will be walking in the Guts and Glory Crohns and Colitis to raise funds and awareness for the research, education, and advocacy work of The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. A future without Crohn’s Disease & Ulcerative Colitis is within our reach; please help in any way you can.
