Tiny updates to site

If you haven’t noticed, I don’t blame you. I made some tiny changes to the site yesterday & today and they’re now live. Instead of just seeing links to the Gallery & my friends’ sites, you’ll see the last 5 albums in the gallery, and the last post from each friend’s website. I had this before, but it took the page too long to load… now, the page loads, then fetches this information and puts it in the right place. For my techie-friends, it’s called AJAX. For Mom & Dad, it’s just a quicker way to get to the information, and saves you from clicking on Brian’s link to see that he still hasn’t posted anything.

I also was motivated today to work on a project I’ve been wanting to build. In under 6 hours, I have a working beta done, and will now run it by Steve (who originally told me not to build it) to see what he thinks. I still need a logo, and a bit more “pretty-work”. I’ll share the website with you all later.

Time for bed… tomorrow is a day off – yippee!
