11,450 miles later

I’m finally home for a while…. see, for the past few weeks, I’ve been mostly flying from one place to another, eventually landing long enough to eat, sleep, get some work done, and go through security checkpoints at another airport.

See, I flew to Austin, TX on the 1st for some meetings, then the next day, drove to Dallas, TX then flew home that night. While in Austin, Steve and I secured a consulting job, which required me to fly to Las Vegas on the 5th, spend some time in a manufacturing plant on the 6th in Vegas, then fly to Austin that night, spend 2 days in Austin, then fly home on the 8th.

After being home for 3 days, I flew back to Austin on the 12th, and just got home last night, the 14th. So since the 1st, I’ve been gone 9 out of 14 days… and of those 5 days that I actually was home, I spent 1 day at the University of Scouting, where I was learning how to be a better Cub Scout leader.

So now I’m home for a while, and looking forward to some quality time with the wife, kids, and Tivo
