Top Christmas Music

1st Dec 2005Uncategorized

A few years ago, I put together a CD of my favorite Christmas tunes. This year, I’m looking to do the same, but I need your help in telling me what should go on the CD. Here’s what I have so far:

  • I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas, Clyde McPhatter & The Drifters
  • Face of Love, Jewel
  • Winter Wonderland, Garth Brooks

Yeah, my list is nowhere near complete, but I don’t want to influence your opinion. The classics are still needed, like Burl Ives “A Holly Jolly Christmas”, but who do you chose for “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, or “Frosty the Snowman”?

Of course, unlike many years ago, I will be purchasing these songs from iTunes if I don’t already have them on a CD here. I mean… it’s just not right stealing Christmas songs, ya know?

So please, leave your choices!

Well Maria Carey’s “All I want For Xmas” is always popular and for novelty value (depending how old your children are) “Who Put The Stump” by Bob Rivers always adds a bit of a giggle at the party.

“Merry Xmas Everybody” by Slade gets you in the mood and “I Wish It Could Be Christmas” by Wizard is always popular here in the UK.

I see Jan wrote you too. We still keep in contact, she and I. She was my Maid of Honor. How are you and Laura doing?
