Agility week over
Well, last night was the last event for Scout’s busy week. On Monday night we were doing agility demonstrations at Canal Fest. Scout did well for a tight course, but again did not want to do the tunnels. She also refused to climb the A-Frame each time we approached it. But the tire, which had been giving her trouble, was no problem.
Then last night, we were in the Canal Fest parade along with about a dozen other dogs. I had to put her gentle leader on in order to walk her, but she did well and let lots of loud kids pet her. The weather was nice, but I think we waited in line for about 1-1/2 hours until we were able to start the parade.
Scout’s next event is herding at TeeCreek on August 1st. While the only experience Scout has in herding involves our children, I think her natural instinct will kick in & she’ll do well. I’ll be sure to have video from that day.
Finally…
Yep, Morgan’s 6 months old today. After gymnastics w/ Becca, I’ll pick up an ice-cream cake to have w/ the kids, and see if Morgan can make as much of a mess as Becca did 2 years ago.
