I should probably post a bit more often. Maybe I’ll switch to blogger to make it easier for me & Laura.
Anyway, Scout is back in agility classes. She has two trials this summer. This week wasn’t great, but last week she did really well.
Last weekend (on Father’s Day) I entered my first triathlon. I met my two goals: to finish, and to not finish last. It was close. I had a very hard time on the swim, and after the bike, I was last amongst the sprint competitors. 99/99. Over the run, I took over 3 spots, and finished 95/98. 102 people entered, 4 did not make it. I’ll probably do another one or two this summer.
Jason’s done with Kindergarten, and Laura is getting him ready for first grade. We just picked up some beginner reader books, and he’s doing well. This summer, he’ll be taking swim lessons 4 days / week and tennis on the 5th day. I’m still getting used to him being home; since he doesn’t have to catch the bus, I’ve been sleeping in this past week. That means no gym, which is a good thing as my foot’s been bugging me after the triathlon. Feeling better now, so back to the gym on Monday.
Morgan’s getting big, and loves it when I talk to her. Rebecca is getting braver, especially around kids her own age. While at the playground, she’ll play with the other kids, instead of sticking to my leg. I’m not sure I like this, as I don’t mind her sitting on my lap & hiding from others
Laura and I are planning a weekend in Toronto for our anniversary, and in August we’ll be in Hershey. I’ll have to up my hours in July to make up for that week off in August. Working on my own is working out well – I’m glad I went this route. If I can just make it through the summer, as the family at home is distracting, and this weather doesn’t help much, either.

As you can see, I’ve moved to Blogger. Hopefully this will inspire me to write more often.
